Our entry for the Global Game Jam 2022, for which the theme was "Duality".
This survival-typing game will hone your discrimination skills.

Your mission

You are a conscripted medical doctor under the reign of Gov.
Schisms plague the nation and Gov thinks they are bad.
Instead, Gov wants coherence. Coherence is good.

Your duty is to achieve Radical Peace by rewarding the coherent and educating the incoherent.

How to play

A coherent citizen respects all the rules, and they must be rewarded.
An incoherent citizen is one who doesn't respect at least one rule. They must be educated, and they must be told why.

Once you have made up your mind about a citizen:

• first, press G (Reward) or H (Educate)
• then, if you chose to Educate, press the key referring to the rule you are kindly reminding
• finally, press the letter of the citizen

Good luck, doctor, for the fate of the nation is in your hooves.

Wise words

If the citizens being discriminated are not to your liking, please restart the game!
The random number generator doesn't discriminate between discriminations.

And if Gov is giving you too much of a hard time, you may start looking for the two cheat keys.
One is a number and gives you a health bonus.
The other is the key to equality and skips the current level.
You didn't hear it from us.
